UCAA Participates in 10th National Conference on Communication, Showcases Aviation Innovations
The Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA) is participating in the 10th National Conference on Communication being held at Makerere University from September 24 to 25, 2026.The conference brings together professionals, researchers, academics and other stakeholders to share knowledge, experiences and innovations in communication and technology.
As part of its participation, the UCAA team has presented two papers highlighting technological innovations in Uganda’s aviation sector.The presentations focused on how technology can be used to strengthen aviation safety while improving the efficiency and reliability of operations.
The papers also highlighted the importance of innovation in addressing emerging challenges and supporting the continued modernisation of Uganda’s aviation industry.Through the presentations, UCAA shared its experiences and insights with other participants, demonstrating how technological solutions can contribute to better aviation services.
The conference has also provided an opportunity for UCAA staff to interact with experts from different fields, exchange knowledge and learn about emerging developments in communication and technology.UCAA’s participation underscores the growing importance of technology and innovation in building a safer, more efficient and reliable aviation sector capable of supporting Uganda’s wider development.
