The Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) has relocated its Real Estate Tax Office from its headquarters in Nakawa to a new location at RR Pearl Tower One along Yusuf Lule Road in Kampala. The relocation takes effect today, September 7, 2026, as part of URA’s efforts to improve service delivery and make it easier for taxpayers and members of the public to access services related to real estate taxation.

The new Real Estate Tax Office is located on the ninth floor of RR Pearl Tower One, opposite the Ministry of Health Headquarters on Yusuf Lule Road. Taxpayers who previously visited the URA headquarters in Nakawa for real estate tax-related services are now expected to visit the new office.URA said the move is intended to improve the way it serves taxpayers and the general public. The authority urged taxpayers to take note of the new location to avoid inconvenience when seeking services. The relocation comes at a time when real estate remains an important area of Uganda’s tax system, with URA continuing to engage property owners and other taxpayers on their tax obligations. Having a dedicated office for real estate tax services is expected to help taxpayers access the relevant assistance more conveniently.

URA has encouraged members of the public with questions or concerns about the relocation to contact the authority through its toll-free telephone number 0800 217 000 or 0417 444 602, which is not toll-free. Taxpayers can also reach URA through WhatsApp on 0772 140 000 or email at services@ura.go.ug.The authority further reminded taxpayers that they can visit the nearest URA office for assistance if they require support.URA thanked taxpayers and the general public for their continued cooperation, saying the relocation is part of its broader efforts to improve service delivery as it continues with its mandate of developing Uganda together.
